Strength, peace, presence: alignment and breath-based dynamic flow and restorative yoga

Kate Walker 003.jpg

Having grown up in New York and Los Angeles, Kate Walker started studying yoga in 1998. She was the weakest, most inflexible person in the yoga room, but persevered as the quiet and calm internal state was unlike anything she had ever known. Having taken part in numerous teacher trainings, (she credits Max Strom, Edward Clark, Seane Corn, Annie Carpenter, Judith Lasater, Jason Crandel and Rodney Yee as her main influences) she has been teaching since 2004.

Kate specialises in teaching all level classes with a balance of mindful, strong, breath and alignment-based dynamic flow with relaxing restorative yoga. She was one of the most popular and longest standing teachers at Europe's largest yoga venue, triyoga in London, from 2004-2022.  She now teaches online from her home on the Essex/Suffolk border via Zoom.
